Easy Crochet Scarf Pattern

Easy Crochet Scarf

Here is an Easy Crochet Scarf Pattern that you can work on and finish within a day.

Make sure you choose a super chunky yarn and a correct sized large crochet hook. This is the secret to whipping up an easy crochet scarf quickly.

You can use any yarn and crochet hook with this easy crochet scarf pattern but the chunkier the yarn and hook, then the faster it crochets up!

Materials Required

I have used Luxury Linate Flash yarn bought from Lincraft but any super soft chunky yarn is fine to use.

I have used an 8.0mm crochet hook but you can use whatever fits your yarn best.

Written Instructions

Ch 12 loosely.

Row 1: 1 dc into 4th ch from hk, 1 dc into each ch across to the end, turn. (10 sts – you will have 10 sts also on all following rows)

Row 2: ch 3, 1 dc into each st across to the end, last dc into top of ch-3, turn.

Rep Row 2 for as many rows as you need to get the length you desire.

Finish off.

Weave in yarn tails with a yarn needle.

Tassels are optional.

Cut 5 pieces of yarn measuring 20-40cm each; this makes one tassel. Do this as many times for each end of the scarf.

Fold one yarn strand in half. Put your crochet hook into any stitch starting at any side of whichever end of the scarf where you want the tassel, hook the middle of the yarn and pull through the stitch. Pull the ends of the yarn through the loop you pulled through the scarf and tie a knot. And there, you have a tassel!

Space the tassels out evenly on the end of the scarf.

Or add something really different like my chain tassels.

I hope that this Easy Crochet Scarf Pattern is what you were looking for and that you enjoyed crocheting it.
