We’ve all wondered at some point during our crocheting about which is the right side and the wrong side of our work. You will see in the video tutorial about how to quickly tell whether you are looking at the right or wrong side.
You will see in pattern books that the right and wrong side are usually written as the following:
RS = Right Side
WS = Wrong Side
It’s pretty easy to tell which side is what by taking notice to your yarn tail end (where you began your work).
If you are looking at your work and the yarn tail end is on your left at the bottom then you are looking at the Right Side. If you are looking at your work and the yarn tail end is on your right at the bottom then you are looking at the Wrong Side.
If you are looking at your work and the yarn tail end is on your left at the bottom then you are looking at the Wrong Side. If you are looking at your work and the yarn tail end is on your right at the bottom then you are looking at the Right Side.
