Love this pattern! just made a pair of green ones for my nephew (: he’s already growing out of them though, so I was wondering how would I (or where, really) add stitches in order to make a bigger pair? Thanks!

    • Paula says:

Thank you Taylor. To make a bigger pair you can use thicker yarn and a larger sized hook.

  3. Stacey says:

Thank you for sharing your pattern. I made these last night using both your pattern and video. Your instructions were very clear and the video was very very helpful. The booties turned out wonderful! Thanks again.

I adore this pattern. I have made smaller, and larger, by following your suggestion of changing hook size and yarn thickness. I would, however, love to make a pair for myself, so is it possible to help me with the pattern adjustments, please? I don’t think they make hooks large enough to create an adult boot…..lol

    Thanks….very cool booties!

Hello Vera, Thank you for liking my pattern. If you’d like a bigger size you can always use a larger crochet hook and thicker yarn.

  8. Amanda says:

I want to do these booties to test out the ability I have in reading the shorthand of the crocheting world. I was wondering, in between the first round and the second round, you say trim the yarn tail off, then in the second round you say do 2 hdc into the same sp you did the sl st. I was wondering if you mean fasten off and then do them or, if not, how do I add them into the same spot lol, just a little confused is all.

    • Paula says:

      Hi Amanda,

Where I say trim the tail off, that’s the end of the yarn tail that you worked over when you worked the first round, no I don’t mean finish off. Hope this helps!
