3D Crochet Flowers

I have come up with this easy 3D Crochet Flower Pattern as someone requested for me to do it awhile back. These flowers are great to decorate other crocheted items.

Materials Required

Any yarn – I’ve used Sports weight or 8 ply yarn in the above picture.

Any hook – I’ve used a 5.0mm crochet hook with the above yarn.

yarn needle

Stitches & Terms

This pattern is using U.S. stitches and terms. To convert stitches go to my Crochet Stitch Conversion Chart.

ch = chain

hk = hook

rep = repeat

sc = single crochet

sk = skip

st/s = stitch/es

Basic Crochet Stitches Video Tutorials

Written Instructions

Ch 38, leaving a yarn tail long enough to sew with later. (Or any even amount of ch sts)

Row 1: 1 sc into 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc into each st across to the end, turn.

Row 2: ch 1, 1 sc into 1st st, (ch 3, sk 1 sc, 1 sc into next st) 3 times, * ch 5, sk 1 sc, 1 sc into next st, rep from * to the end.

Finish off.

Thread yarn tail that is on the smallest looped end through a yarn needle. Starting from small looped end, roll end a few times and sew into bottom row. Continue to roll and sew every few rolls. Finish off. Weave in yarn tails with a yarn needle.
